Getting Started

Here are the first steps to start integrating with IDUnico:

1. Make a request to the authentication server to obtain a valid Access Token that allows the use of the REST API. For more information, see the article Authentication.

2. Capturing the image. Image capture needs to follow a pattern to get good results. The image needs to be sharp. For more information on capturing, see Capture Pattern.

3. Make calls to the API using the access token obtained in step 1 in the request header. Follow the instructions in API Guide.

Important

• The feature of Sending a link by message (SMS and WhatsApp), is done through the IDUnico Portal, without integration. For integration, the feature is available in the By Unico. For more information, see By Unico.

• Returning the user's photo to the client:

1. When IDUnico is used through the API, the photo already comes from the client.
2. When IDUnico is used with an SDK, the photo is captured by the SDK and goes to the client's backend and then to the IDUnico backend. In this case, the client already has the user's photo.
3. When the IDUnico integration is done through the By Unico, consult the By Unico documentation for more information.
